The school said he had surgery Monday to repair a tear in the meniscus of his right knee. He was injured during last week's game against Syracuse, when he banged knees with an opposing player as he fought through a screen. Dyson was averaging more than 13 points and started all 24 games for the top-ranked Huskies. | | 02/02 | 8:11am | Charles Okwandu | C | Out For Year | Academics | Reserve center Okwandu has been ruled academically ineligible for the remainder of the season. The 7-footer appeared in 10 games this year averaging less than 1 point and 2 rebounds per night.

The 6-foot-10 junior played in two games for the No. 17 Wildcats (6-0) and averaged 2.0 points and 2.5 rebounds. He started nine times in 42 career games at Villanova and missed most of last season with ankle injuries. "Casiem is interested in finding a place where he can earn significantly more playing time than he has received here," Villanova coach Jay Wright said.
