Air Force Falcons Next game: Utah at Air Force on 09/20

08/21	9:43pm	Ezekial Knight	LB	Out	Illness	Knight has been forced to give up football altogether. He has a heart condition that has prevented him from playing at all this year. Knight started 12 games in '07 with 64 tackles and 3 sacks. Freshman Jerrell Harris is slated to replace him.

09/07	1:15pm	Terrell Reese	WR	Out	Suspension	Reese was suspended indefinitely following his arrest on a charge of driving while intoxicated. Freshman Juron Criner made his second consecutive start at wide receiver yesterday and caught four passes for 45 yards.

Coach Stoops said 3-year starter will be suspended indefinitely. Sophomore Brooks Reed is penciled in as Turner's replacement. Reed had 7 tackles last year.

09/17	10:21am	Gerald Munns	LB	Probable	Finger	Starting MLB Gerald Munns did not play week 3 but returns after surgery on his pinkie finger though he's going to sport a cast for about five weeks. Munns physical performance against Stanford earned him conference defensive player of the week honors in week 2.

09/09	1:03pm	Mitch Petrus	OL	Out	Eligibility	Coach Petrino said Monday that guard Mitch Petrus will redshirt this season. A 12-game starter in 2007, Petrus has been practicing but has not dressed for either of the first two games. Petrino has given no specifics about why Petrus isn�t playing. School officials have said there has not been a violation of NCAA rules, which suggests the possibility of academic eligibility being involved.

Army did not complete a pass in four attempts after Williams came out.

Barring an unforeseen setback the senior RB should be able to play Saturday against LSU Coach Tuberville said Wednesday. "Brad looked good - much better," Tuberville said. "His range of motion is good. If he continues to do what he's doing, he'll be ready to go."

Sunday, Coach Tuberville said that Slaughter will stay suspended until further notice. When asked to elaborate on the reason behind the suspension, Tuberville would only reply that Slaughter is in the 'doghouse'.

08/17	2:28pm	Marcus Jemison	CB	Out	Leg	Jemison will miss the 2008 season after breaking his leg during a fight with a teammate on the practice field. Auburn's secondary was already thin when Aairon Savage was lost for the year due to a knee injury and this only emphasizes their need for quality depth.
08/17	2:22pm	Aairon Savage	CB	Out	Knee	Savage suffered a dislocated knee cap and torn ACL and MCL after a collision in practice and is out for the season. He was Freshman All-American at safety before moving to CB last year and becoming one of the team's leaders. Junior Walter McFadden looks to be Savage's replacement but Auburn's CB depth will be filled by incoming true freshmen.
