The senior was leading the tailback corps in rushing this season before the injury while QB Matt Rodgers is the team leader in all rushing categories. RS freshman DeVoe Torrence and senior Alex Allen shared the bigger part of tailback duty at 'Cuse and true freshman Broderick Alexander took nearly all the carries at N.Illinois.
10/20	9:08am	Deryn Bowser	WR	Out For Year	Leg	Bowser, the Zips leading receiver, has been lost for the year after x-rays revealed he broke his leg in a week seven loss to Buffalo. Bowser had hauled in 21 passes for 307 yards and five TDs on the year, making him the only Akron player with a touchdown reception. Andre Jones is expected to move from safety to receiver to replace the depth lost by Bowser's injury.

10/17	8:18am	Matt Rodgers	QB	Out For Year	Knee	Rodgers injured his knee late in the second quarter of the week six game vs. Ohio and did not return. He will miss the remainder of the season with torn ligaments. The RS sophomore was replaced by true freshman Patrick Nicely, who saw his first action for the Zips.
10/10	9:31am	Chris Jacquemain	QB	Out For Year	Suspension	Jacquemain has been suspended indefinitely from the Zips' football team for a violation of team rules. He will not return after his suspension. Sophomore Matt Rodgers has taken over the starting duties in place of Jacquemain. His backup will be either RS freshman walk-on Jared Wackerly or freshman Patrick Nicely.
09/23	11:43am	Cowles Stewart	OL	Out	Suspension	Stewart has been charged with felonious assault for repeatedly punching a man during a fight last month and has been suspended from the team. The sophomore started a couple of games as a freshman before being injured. He since has been relegated to backup duties.

He returned to practice and has been upgraded to probable for week ten. Peek is the No. 1 TE for the Crimson Tide. RS freshman Mike Williams was taking snaps with the first team in Peek's absence.
11/05	9:41am	Rod Woodson	S	Questionable	Knee	True freshman SS Rod Woodson did not play in the Tennessee game due to a patella tendon injury. Woodson's injury could require surgery at some point, but head coach Nick Saban wants to play it "day-by-day" for now (questionable for LSU). Woodson is a reserve SS for the Crimson Tide.
11/05	9:37am	Dre Kirkpatrick	CB	Questionable	Muscle pull	True freshman CB Dre Kirkpatrick is battling a muscle pull that has him questionable for LSU. Kirkpatrick is a reserve CB and key special teams performer for the Crimson Tide in 2009.
11/05	9:35am	Terry Grant	RB	Questionable	Muscle pull	Junior RB Terry Grant has missed practice time with a pulled muscle and is questionable for LSU. Grant is a reserve RB (No. 4) for the Crimson Tide who can also play WR in certain formations.
10/21	10:28am	Kenny Bell	WR	Out	Shin	True freshman WR Kenny Bell has not played all season because of debilitating shin splints that keep him from practicing. He does not participate in any contact drills during practice as of Sept 21. His status for the rest of the season is out indefinitely, making him a likely redshirt candidate.
09/29	11:15pm	Jeramie Griffin	FB	Out For Year	Torn ACL	Sophomore FB Jeramie Griffin will miss the 2009 season with a torn ACL suffered during fall preseason camp. Griffin was a part of the fullback and running back rotations for the Crimson Tide in 2008.
09/28	6:59am	Dont'a Hightower	LB	Out For Year	Knee	Sophomore LB Dont'a Hightower will miss the rest of the 2009 season after undergoing surgery to repair ligament damage according to head coach Nick Saban. Hightower is known as one of the best pass-rushers in the SEC. The No. 1 WLB was replaced in the Arkansas game by fellow sophomore Courtney Upshaw.
09/15	8:11am	Damion Square	DE	Out For Year	Torn ACL	Redshirt freshman DE Damion Square tore his ACL during the Sept 12 game against Florida International and will miss the rest of the 2009 season. "It's really too bad," Saban said. "He got redshirted last year and was promising freshman. We were hopeful that he would give us great depth. But it gives somebody else an opportunity to go out and play."
08/26	6:08am	Alonzo Lawrence	S	Out For Year	Dismissed	Redshirt freshman Alonzo Lawrence was dismissed from the team during the summer session. Lawrence was listed as the No. 3 SS on the depth chart.
08/17	4:37pm	Brandon Fanney	LB	Out For Year	Transfer	Fanney has been granted permission to transfer from UA. The 2008 starter was third on the team with 66 tackles - nine for a loss. With Fanney's departure look for senior Eryk Anders to take over the starting job.

11/03	10:20am	Brooks Reed	DE	Questionable	Ankle	Reed has a sprained ankle and did not play against UCLA, and he has barely played in the past four games. HC Stoops said he wants to get Reed, the team's best pass rusher, fully healthy for a difficult closing stretch that begins Nov. 14 at Cal. After that, UA is home for Oregon and then on the road at rival Arizona State and USC.
11/03	10:17am	Greg Nwoko	RB	Questionable	Shoulder	Nwoko has a sprained shoulder and is questionable for the WSU game. With Grigsby likely out as well, sophomore Keola Antolin is the likely candidate for the bulk of the carries in week 10.
11/03	10:16am	Nik Grigsby	RB	Doubtful	Shoulder	Grigsby injured his right shoulder against Oregon State and re-aggravated the injury vs. UCLA. The junior is likely not going to play vs. Wazzu this weekend. He is averaging 7.5 ypc and leads the team in rushing this season. Much of the rushing load will fall on sophomore backup Keola Antolin in week 10.
09/21	9:36pm	Rob Gronkowski	TE	Out For Year	Back	Junior Rob Gronkowski had season-ending surgery to help mend his ailing back. The Wildcats ran most of their offense through Gronkowski and will undeniably miss him. In the absence of the first-team All-Pac10 player Arizona's offense has noticeably lacked in production through the air. Junior A.J. Simmons has taken over the starting job.
08/09	1:38am	Scott Smith	DE	Out For Year	Kicked Off Team	Smith's scholarship has not been renewed and he is no longer on the football team. The sophomore reserve transferred from Cal a year ago and will not play in 2009.
08/09	1:34am	Kaniela Tuipulotu	DT	Out For Year	Transfer	Tuipulotu will transfer from Arizona to Hawaii. He started seven games in 2008 for the Wildcats but wants to be closer to home. He was listed as the No. 2 DT for 2009 as senior Earl Mitchell has a lock on the starting job.

11/06	11:45am	TJ Simpson	WR	Out For Year	Ankle	Simpson will have a screw put into his injured ankle and is out for the remainder of the season. Of the five games he has played this year, Simpson has started three and of the five receptions he has made on the season, two have been for touchdowns.
11/03	11:36am	Dimitri Nance	RB	Questionable	Shoulder	Nance reinjured his shoulder on the first possession of the Cal game and did not return. The team's leading rusher is questionable for USC. Sophomore Ryan Bass replaced Nance in the lineup and immediately fumbled the ball. He was replaced by freshman Cameron Marshall who turned in a 71 yard performance on 16 carries in week nine.
11/01	3:46pm	Kerry Taylor	WR	Questionable	Hamstring	Taylor is hobbled my a hamstring injury and sat out vs. Cal. His status for the USC game is questionable.
11/01	3:45pm	Thomas Altieri	C	Questionable	Leg	Altieri suffered a right leg injury late in the week eight game and left the field on crutches. He sat out the Cal game and his status for USC is questionable. Garth Gerhart resumed the starting job he had at the beginning of the season in place of Altieri.
11/01	3:44pm	Omar Bolden	CB	Questionable	Knee	Bolden has a sprained knee and sat out the last four games. Terell Carr has been starting at corner opposite Pierre Singfield. Bolden is also one of the Sun Devils' kick returners and has been replaced by Keelan Johnson and LeQuan Lewis. Bolden is questionable for USC.
11/01	3:42pm	Zach Schlink	OL	Questionable	Knee	Schlink had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee to remove cartilage and the sophomore has yet to play this year. He is nearing a return and is questionable for USC.
10/02	10:09am	Mike Marcisz	OL	Out For Year	Shoulder	Marcisz suffered a shoulder injury that is going to require surgery. The sophomore will miss the remainder of the season. Walk-on Brent Good did a commendable job in the second half at Georgia and HC Erickson is inserting him into the starting lineup this weekend.
08/18	6:34pm	Osahon Irabor	DB	Out For Year	Thumb	Recruit Osahon Irabor is expected to miss the entire season after having right thumb surgery. He was not listed on the Sun Devils' depth chart.
08/18	6:32pm	Brandon Smith	WR	Out	Knee	Reserve receiver Brandon Smith suffered what could be a serious knee injury last week. The fifth-year senior appeared to have injured his ankle at first but later was found to have suffered what could be a ligament tear. He was expected to be a backup split end this season behind Kerry Taylor and Gerell Robinson.

11/05	9:10am	Ramon Broadway	CB	Questionable	Hamstring	Junior CB Ramon Broadway missed the Eastern Michigan game with a "substantial hamstring injury" according to head coach Bobby Petrino. He is questionable for South Carolina (game-time decision). Broadway is a starting CB for the Razorbacks and is among their better pass defenders.
11/01	11:46am	Andru Stewart	CB	Questionable	Academics	Junior CB Andru Stewart did not play against Eastern Michigan and is questionable for South Carolina. Stewart is a reserve CB for the Razorbacks.
09/02	7:33am	John Henderson	DT	Out For Year	Transfer	Junior NT John Henderson has signed a letter of intent with Southern Mississippi. The former JUCO transfer had originally signed with Arkansas but was granted a release. Henderson was listed as the No. 3 NT on the Razorbacks depth chart.
09/02	7:29am	Brandon Lampkin	DE	Out For Year	Transfer	Sophomore DE Brandon Lampkin transferred to Georgia Southern. The reserve DL was listed as the No. 3 LDE on the depth chart.
09/02	7:17am	Colby Berna	G	Out For Year	Redshirt	True freshman LG Colby Berna will redshirt this season to recover from offseason shoulder surgery. Berna was listed as the No. 3 LG on the Razorbacks depth chart.
08/26	6:14am	Isaac Madison	CB	Out For Year	Torn ACL	Starting CB Isaac Madison is out for the season with a torn ACL (Aug 17). The junior starter at RCB was second on the team last season with 7 passes broken up and also recorded 38 tackles and 1 interception. Sophomore Greg Gatson immediately replaced Madison, but true freshmen Darius Winston (No. 2 RCB) and David Gordon (No. 3 LCB) are receiving what would be Madison's reps in practice.

08/13	6:21pm	Jarriel Norman	WR	Out For Year	Dismissed	Projected starting receiver Jarriel Norman was booted from the team for conduct detrimental to the team. The senior had one start last year and had an impressive average of 16.4 yards per catch. Outside of senior Jahbari McLennan the Red Wolves have few players with much playing time under their belt.
08/13	6:15pm	Paul Stephens	CB	Out For Year	Dismissed	Senior defensive back Paul Stephens was dismissed from Red Wolves football after his arrest for breaking and entering. He was expected to compete with senior Cordarious Mingo for a starting job in 2009.
08/13	6:14pm	Leroy Trahan	DB	Out For Year	Dismissed	Junior DB Leroy Trahan was dismissed from the team due to conduct detrimental to the team. He was not likely to get much playing time in 2009 as he was buried on the depth chart.

11/05	6:13am	George Fletcher	DB	Questionable	Undisclosed	Reserve DB Fletcher left week six's dramatic win against Tulane a little banged up and has not played since. Consider him questionable to go Nov. 7 against Air Force. Fletcher provides depth at cornerback and occasionally safety when healthy.
11/04	7:45am	CeDarius Williams	FB	Questionable	Ankle	Williams is nearing a return from a severe ankle injury that has kept him out for the majority of the season, though it's not known if that will happen this weekend. Consider him questionable to play on Nov. 7 against Air Force. Williams' carries have gone to Pat Mealy, who has been playing extremely well and might force Williams into a reserve role when he can return.

Etheridge was the leading tackler for Auburn in 2008 and was among the leaders in 2009.
10/31	9:19am	Onterio McCalebb	RB	Out	Ankle	True freshman RB Onterio McCalebb will miss the Ole Miss game with a re-aggravation to an ankle injury suffered against Ball State a month ago. McCalebb is the speediest back on the Auburn roster, so his absence negatively impacts Auburn's playmaking ability on offense and in special teams.
10/25	10:21am	Drew Cole	S	Out	Ankle	Sophomore FS Drew Cole has missed six straight games and is out indefinitely. Cole sustained the injury during Auburn's SEC opener against Mississippi State. Cole's absence, combined with the preseason injuries to Aairon Savage and Mike McNeil, thins out the Auburn defensive back rotation.
10/18	10:27am	Michael McNeil	S	Out	Leg	Junior SS Mike McNeil has been rehabbing from a broken leg suffered during fall preaseson camp and is out indefinitely. The coaching staff expects him to return in late October. Freshman Daren Bates has stepped up in McNeil's absence.
10/10	9:50am	Harris Gaston	LB	Out	Undisclosed	True freshman LB Harris Gaston will miss the Arkansas game with an undisclosed ailment, and his status from that point forward is TBD. Head coach Gene Chizik says that Gaston is experiencing "medical issues". Gaston played in the first four games of the season but did not make the trip to Knoxville last week.
10/10	9:25am	Spencer Pybus	LB	Out For Year	Concussion	Sophomore LB Spencer Pybus is likely out for the season according to head coach Gene Chizik. Pybus suffered a concussion in late August and has been held out all season. The reserve LB is the No. 2 WLB on the depth chart behind starter Eltoro Freeman.
09/19	3:05am	Montez Billings	WR	Out For Year	Left team	Senior WR Montez Billings left the team to pursue other opportunities. Billings has already graduated from Auburn University. As the leading returning receiver (24 receptions, 227 receiving yards in 2008), Billings was expected to start again this season and vie for the top receiver slot. His departure leaves a giant hole at WR that needs to be replaced immediately.
08/26	6:27am	Rudy Odom	G	Out For Year	Left team	Senior RG Rudy Odom left the team for the second time this year. The No. 2 RG on the depth chart played in two games last season while struggling through various injuries.
08/22	12:04pm	Aairon Savage	DB	Out For Year	Achilles	Projected starter Aairon Savage tore his Achilles and is out for the season.
08/09	5:45pm	Christian Thompson	S	Out For Year	Left Team	Sophomore safety Thompson has left the football program. It is unclear if he left of his own accord or was dismissed. Thompson played in 10 games in 2008 as a true freshman logging one tackle. He played a bigger role during the spring with starters Zac Etheridge and Mike McNeil limited by injuries.

10/21	9:54am	Kelly Page	QB	Out For Year	Thumb	Page was knocked out of the week seven Bowling Green game with a thumb injury and will miss the remainder of the season. Page suffered a fracture in the knuckle area of his right thumb (throwing hand). Without Page HC Parrish said he was forced to turn to the running game but Ball State was already trailing by 14. Tanner Justice replaced Page in the losing effort and has been named the starter at Eastern Michigan.
09/22	2:19pm	Seth White	WR	Out For Year	Collarbone	White broke his collarbone in the first half against Army and is done for the 2009 season. The injury requires surgery. White started the first two games of the season and was second on the team in receptions going into week three.
09/08	1:52am	Madaris Grant	TE	Out For Year	Knee	Grant tore his ACL in the first quarter of the season opener and will undergo surgery in a couple of weeks. The senior and team captain will petition the NCAA for a sixth year of eligibility. After Thursday's loss, HC Parrish said Grant was the one player he couldn't afford to lose. Grant's replacement has not been determined. Sophomore Ryan Hartke, who had never played the position before, filled in Thursday night but was called for a holding penalty that nullified a Ball State touchdown. Freshman Zane Fakes, a converted running back, will compete with Hartke for the starting job.
08/13	2:07am	Derrick Henry	S	Out For Year	Academics	Junior Derrick Henry was expected to provide depth in the Cardinals' secondary but is not with the team because of what coach Stan Parrish termed "academic issues" encountered during the spring semester. Henry finished 2008 with 42 tackles, but he had only 12 in the final seven games. While unable to play regularly on defense, he was regarded as a key performer on special teams.

11/07	6:08am	Jay Finley	RB	Probable	Various	Finley has been extremely ineffective the past three weeks as he returned to action following a variety of injuries. Despite his drop in production, Baylor has no plans to shut the halfback down completely, so consider him probable to play moving forward. Finley amassed only 19 yards on eight carries in week nine.
11/06	9:03am	Antareis Bryan	CB	Probable	Foot	Starting CB Bryan, the most experienced member of the Bears secondary, is nearing a return after breaking a bone in his foot during week three's match-up with UConn. He has been upgraded to probable to come back on Nov. 7 against MIssouri after beginning the week as a question mark. Bryan is being replaced by the tandem of Clifton Odom and Mikail Baker.
11/04	1:37pm	Blake Szymanski	QB	Probable	Shoulder	Szymanski did not play on Oct. 31 against Nebraska due to a bruised shoulder but he's probable to be available on Nov. 7 against Missouri. Szymanski is unlikely to start the game, but if needed, he can play. The senior was replaced in the starting lineup by talented if inexperienced freshman Nick Florence, who will continue to start. Szymanski and Florence had basically been splitting time anyhow since Robert Griffith was knocked out for the season four weeks ago.
09/28	8:22am	Robert Griffin	QB	Out For Year	Knee	Griffin suffered a torn ACL in week four's win over Northwestern State and will not play again this season. The talented sophomore was initially injured on the first drive of the game when his leg bent awkwardly as he was tackled, but Griffin remained in the game until halftime with his knee heavily wrapped before being removed for good. Griffin was responsible for 28 total touchdowns as a freshman in 2008 and considered the Bears best hope of making a bowl game in 2009. Senior Blake Szymanski, who was the starting QB before Griffin arrived on campus, is slated to take over the starting spot.
09/28	8:21am	Mikail Baker	DB	Out For Year	Knee	Baker is out for the season after tearing his ACL in week four against Northwestern State. The senior defensive back sees action in nickle and dime packages, but perhaps his biggest contributions come on special teams, where he is the Bears top kick returner.

11/04	11:40am	JP Nisby	DT	Out	Knee	Nisby has a knee injury that will likely keep him out of game action for another two to three weeks. The reserve defensive tackle has played in seven games this year and has 10 tackles. The Bronco's depth on the defensive line is a little thin behind starters Chase Baker and Billy Winn.
11/04	11:38am	Michael Atkinson	DT	Doubtful	Ankle	Atkinson has an ankle injury that has limited him to just three games this year. The reserve defensive tackle is doubtful to play LaTech.
11/04	11:36am	Michael Coughlin	QB	Probable	Concussion	Coughlin has been out with a concussion but has been upgraded to probable for Friday's tilt with LaTech. The junior has played in five games this season as backup to stellar sophomore Kellen Moore who has thrown for over 1900 yards and has connected on 24 touchdown passes (with only two picks).
09/26	8:31am	DJ Harper	RB	Out	Knee	Harper likely will miss the rest of the season after tearing the ACL in his left knee in week three. He and fellow junior tailback Jeremy Avery provided 293 rushing yards Friday night at Fresno State. Now, the workload will mostly fall to Avery with sophomore Doug Martin spelling him. HC Peterson said Harper should be able to redshirt this season, giving him two more seasons of eligibility.
09/15	5:17pm	Aaron Burks	WR	Out For Year	Redshirt	True freshman Aaron Burks likely will redshirt unless the Broncos have an injury that forces their hand, HC Petersen said. The Broncos decided to play true freshman wideout Kirby Moore against Miami - filling the one vacant slot in the receiver rotation. Burks was listed on the depth chart for the first two games but didn't play.
08/17	1:02am	Andy Silsby	FB	Out For Year	Knee	Senior fullback Andy Silsby tore an ACL in a softball game and will be out for the year. He will help coach.
08/13	12:31am	Drew Hawkins	QB	Out For Year	Personal	Quarterback-turned-wide receiver Drew Hawkins has left the football program and quit the sport because of a history of concussions. Hawkins sustained his latest concussion in a recreational softball game. He was slated to move to receiver this fall after spending his redshirt year at quarterback. The loss of Hawkins means the Broncos only have two quarterbacks on the roster who have taken a snap in a college practice - sophomore starter Kellen Moore and junior backup Mike Coughlin. True freshmen Mike Tamburo and Joe Southwick will compete for the third-string job.

The reserve receiver caught 11 passes in 2008 for 149 yards and 3 touchdowns (second on the team last season).

The ACC Defensive Player of the year is two months into an aggressive chemotherapy plan and will not play in 2009. The cancer gives him a five-percent higher chance of breaking his leg. "If it breaks, the cancer spreads," he said.

Starks is a fifth-year senior and has no eligibility remaining. Starks is the school's all-time leading rusher with 3,140 yards and 34 rushing touchdowns. He has scored the most points (222) of any player in Buffalo's history and ranks fifth in all-purpose yardage with 3,830 yards. In his absence, junior Brandon Thermilus will start. Thermilus rushed 100 times for 454 yards and seven touchdowns as a backup last season.

RS freshman Marco Thorson will take Speredon's place as the starter.

He began the year as the starter before losing his job to Endres when Frazer went out due to injury. Frazer has been largely ineffective in short bursts as the starting QB this season.

Meyer had hoped that Debose could play a "Percy Harvin" role in 2009 despite being a true freshman.

Head coach Urban Meyer says this about Moore's injury: "I was worried about that one. I'd give you the term, but I don't know what it is--something about the nerves in his back. It's still going to be a little while until he's ready." Moore will miss the Sept 5 game against Charleston Southern and It is believed that his injury could be season-ending. The reserve WR gained 185 receiving yards as a junior in 2008.

HC Mangino said that health concerns with the sophomore were taken into consideration but that those concerns weren't the reason for his departure. Lueken was involved in an offseason incident with former RB Jocques Crawford, who also left the program before the season started. The details of the case haven't been completely revealed.

'Jocques was looking for an opportunity to get more playing time,' Kansas coach Mark Mangino said. 'We support his decision and wish him well.' The JC transfer was listed as the No.2 running back behind senior Jake Sharp who led the team in 2008 with 860 yards rushing and 12 touchdowns.

Harold began fall camp as a projected starter on the defensive line, but it is not known what role his knee injury and all the time missed will allow him to play this season.

Junior Andre Flowers is the likely replacement for the 2008 2nd TmMAC stud.

Highly regarded freshman Michael Rhynes seems like the most logical candidate to replace Evans, however Marshall may want Rhynes to keep his redshirt and look elsewhere for help.

In 2009 spring scrimmages, Ross's carries were limited as Steele and Wisconsin transfer Lance Smith received the brunt of the workload.

Shannon said Ojomo, who started three games last year and is one of the bright young stars at defensive end, is out indefinitely. Shannon repeated that Ojomo was not suspended for any reason.

Forston missed the VT game (Sept 26) with a lower extremity (ankle) injury but returned for the Oklahoma game. Forston was considered the top defensive lineman on the Canes roster and one of the top DLs in the ACC entering the 2009 season, but he has struggled with injuries this season and has yet to record a tackle.

No other details were provided. Last season, Bennett played in 11 games totaling 30 tackles (22 solo and eight assists). He also had 2 1/2 tackles for loss and one interception returned for 78 yards. He ranked No.2 at free safety on the depth chart before the suspension.

Without Beyah, the Blue Raiders may not have the speed and playmaking ability they need to upset Mississippi State, a speedy SEC team.

10/27	4:58pm	Eric Decker	WR	Out For Year	Foot	Decker may need surgery to fix the arch he sprained at Ohio State and is out indefinitely. If he doesn't need surgery he might be able to play in a bowl game. The senior ranks second in the B10 and eighth nationally with 758 receiving yards. The last time Decker went down with an injury the Gophers lost their next five games. Sophomores Troy Stoudermire, Brandon Green and Da'Jon McKnight have not taken advantage of opportunities the past two weeks, but somebody is going to have to step up.
10/07	9:50am	Jeff Tow-Arnett	C	Out For Year	Leg	Tow-Arnett suffered a broken leg and damage to his knee during the Wisconsin game and required surgery. The senior will miss the remainder of the season. Tow-Arnett played most of last season with a torn ACL. RS sophomore Trey Davis is expected to replace Tow-Arnett in the starting lineup with RS junior D.J. Burris serving as the backup.
09/20	10:19pm	Mike Rallis	S	Out For Year	Leg	Rallis broke a leg in the second quarter of the Cal game (week three) and will miss the remainder of the season. The sophomore is scheduled to have surgery Tuesday. HC Brewster said the loss of Rallis is a tough blow. The Gophers were already without senior Tramaine Brock and are extremely thin behind starters Kyle Theret and Kim Royston.
08/09	11:53pm	Tramaine Brock	S	Out For Year	Academics	Brock will not play for the Gophers in 2009. Brock left school for academic reasons in January and was expected to return in time to play this fall. But he was unable to improve his academic standing enough in the ensuing six months to become eligible. Brock started all 13 games last season after transferring from Mississippi Gulf Coast CC. He finished third on the team with 73 tackles and also had an interception, adding some toughness to a defense that was one of the worst in the nation the year before he arrived. Kim Royston, who sat out last season after transferring from Wisconsin, will likely step in to fill the void.

He has been susupended by head coach Houston Nutt for the rest of the season after missing the UAB, Arkansas, and Auburn games. Johnson's absence leaves the Rebels thin on the offensive line, as they only have three reserve linemen who are ready to fill in (freshmen Bobbie Massie and AJ Hawkins and senior Brandon Green).
11/04	9:36am	Jesse Grandy	WR/KR	Questionable	Bruised thigh	True freshman WR/KR Jesse Grandy is battling a thigh bruise that has him questionable for Northern Arizona. Grandy has scored two touchdowns off kick returns so far this season.
11/04	9:35am	Dexter McCluster	WR/RB	Questionable	Leg soreness	Senior WR/RB Dexter McCluster is battling soreness in his legs (possibly from overuse) and is questionable for Northern Arizona. The diminutive playmaker is coming off two straight 130+ yard rushing games and has become a nightmare for opposing teams to face (a threat to run or make a big receiving play).
11/04	9:30am	Johnny Brown	S	Questionable	Groin	Junior SS Johnny Brown injured his groin against Auburn and is questionable for Northern Arizona. Brown is the leading tackler for the Rebels this season, having accumulated twice as many tackles through eight games this season as all of last season.
11/01	10:18am	Enrique Davis	RB	Out	Ankle	Sophomore RB Enrique Davis will miss at least one week after spraining his ankle against Alabama. Davis is the No. 3 RB on the depth chart. True freshman Rodney Scott will fill in for Davis.
10/07	10:53pm	Craig Drummond	DE	Out For Year	Left team	True freshman DE Craig Drummond left school due to academic issues according to head coach Houston Nutt. Drummond, who reported to Ole Miss early in lieu of the second semester of his senior year, was a highly regarded recruit who provided depth at the DE and DT positions.
