After missing all of 2009 with a back injury, Granger has been practicing in preparation for the bowl and might be used in short-yardage situations as part of the goal-line package. Gerald McCoy and Adrian Taylor will continue to start on the defensive line, but the chance of Granger's return could mean they're spelled occasionally.
12/29	7:47am	Trent Williams	OT	Probable	Head	Williams is probable to play on Dec. 31 against Stanford in the Sun Bowl due to a head injury but will not suit up at his normal tackle position where he's an All-American. Williams has been moved to center to start in place of injured walk-on Ben Lepak. Oklahoma's offensive line has been decimated by injuries all year long.

The 2008 first team All-American had 66 receptions for 950 yards and 14 touchdowns and is widely regarded as the best TE in the nation.

Oklahoma HC Bob Stoops has said his star QB is out 2-4 weeks, the low end of that projection being up this week when Oklahoma takes on Tulsa on Saturday Sept. 19. Rumors from the Sooner state indicate that Bradford will be on the sidelines, but Stoops remains mum on if he'll be in uniform and perhaps even acting as the back-up to Landry Jones. Regardless of where Bradford is in his recovery, Jones is the starting QB this weekend against Tulsa.

Not only has Oklahoma pronounced Murray 100% healthy, RB Coach Cale Gundy notes that he's faster than before, putting up an improved time in the 40-yard dash. Murray rushed for over 1000 yards and scored 14 touchdown's in 2008. Senior Chris Brown, who also rushed for over 1000 yards and scored 20 touchdowns last season, will continue to team with Murray for one of the best 1-2 combos in the nation.

The sophomore center was penciled in to start after spring practice, however his injury has held him back and now former tight end Brody Eldridge is expected to start for Oklahoma on opening night against BYU. Eldridge competed at fullback and tight end for the past three seasons, shifting to offensive line only this year.
